Have a 500gb external I borrowed from a friend, Vista seems to recognize it as “drivers succesfully installed” and also when plugged in I get the “Safely Remove Hardware” button…the device has its own power (plugged in, don’t worry) but I cant find the device anywhere to open it..not in My Computer or anywhere else. I’m pretty computer illiterate, by the way, but anything would help!
