I had XP previously installed on my computer and then a couple of days it started screwing up, when the windows xp logo came up on start up i would get a blue screen for less than a second and the computer would restart, i couldnt even start my computer on safe mode, so i decided to reformat it, i used the raid partition manager that i get to use on the start up (pressing F4 or Ctrl+S) and deleted the partition and reformated it (it deleted everything) i created a new raid thing and put in the XP installing disk, when it gets to the welcome to windows screen press enter to start installation press R to repair, or hit F3 to cancel screen, id hit enter, then it says it doesnt detect a hard drive. i remember having the problem when i first built the computer, but i do not remember how i fixed it, i know i didnt have to go get the drivers on a floppy disk because i dont have a floppy disk and never had one. does anybody know an alternate solution to this problem? I already did everything i could with CMOS configuration, HDD is on auto detect and everything, just so you know… HELP!!
