I have a NT4 sorkstation – SP 6
The banshee graphics car died so I have put in a differnt adapter – ATI 3d Rage IIC AGP cad.
Thought it woul dbe a simply job to load new drivers (I done this a 1000 time beofre), but it will not load them.
Iknow they are right drivers.
I have removed PCAnywhere as I have seen this refuse to let drivers be loaded beofre.
Also someone else suggested the I turn of USB support in CMOS – tried that but still no joy.
I’ve also tried VGA mode and then doinstall – still no joy.
I’ve actually move the HArd drive and graphics card over to anohter M/B – in case I had a funny MB fault – still no joy.
Anyone with any ideas???
As this is the bosses PC and what should have been a 30 min max job is now over 24 hours…. any help would be appreciated.
