I can’t install MS Project 98 on MS Windows 2000 Professional. The installation process fails to get to the Typical/Custom options screen and reports that ‘Microsoft Project 98 was not installed successfully’.
If I run the Administrator version of MS Project 98 i.e. ‘setup.exe /a’ then it does install successful.
Is there a reason why it fails to install and how can I get it to install?
