Can’t install NIC drivers for 2k Server

Hello,

I recently installed a 3 com NIC into a windows 2000 server, but the driver will not install. I followed the directions exactly. i receive no error messages. According to the instructions, the driver file ends in a .sys but when I go through the driver wizard it’s only looking for an .inf file. I rebooted the server and the same thing happens. I also tried right clicking the .inf file and “install” but that doesn’t work. The wizard doesn’t give me an option to chose a different file of type. Any suggestions??
