I recently got given a computer, it was very
messed up so I have formatted the drive and attempted to load windows from my boot disc and a 98 wincows CD that i got with this new machine i am on. The old machine tells me that the OEMCD001 is missing i have found a driver, and have loaded the old machine with DOS 6.2 in order to get into it. My qestion is could you tell me what lines to write in autoexec.bat and config sys to make this machine recognise there is a CD in it. the lines I have written are in config.sys DEVICE=C:DOS\CDMKE.SYS /D:OEMCD001 AND IN AUTOEXEC.BAT LH C:DOS\COMMAND\MSCDEX.EXE /D:CDMKE.SYS It has got further than when i did not have the lines however it is now telling me the drivers have not loaded or the IO board in not connected, can you assist
