Can't log onto server

By Kymmie ·
After changing the password to match the administrative password of another server within the same workgroup, I am no longer able to login. The message that comes back is "system can't log you on due to the following error. The network request is not supported. Please try again or consult your system administrator". Help!

You have not given detail situation. However, if you are talking about two domains, then it is necessary for answerer to know what is beyond that. I mean whether they are parent and child domain or two different domains in the same forest.

It seems your problem is latter one. Check whether you have established trust relationships betwen those two domains properly. I hope you know about intransitive trust and transitive trust.

If it does not help you, please send more information.

This morning I tried to login again, and it appeared that someone rebooted the server. Everything seems to be okay now. Don't know why that message appeared in the first place.
These servers are not apart of a domain but a workgroup. They are webservers, no active directory. The server that had the problem was Windows 2000 and the other server is Windows 2003.
Thank you for trying to help me. I appreciated it.
