Can’t open directory properties

I am not able to change the properties of any directories on one of a win2k server. If I right click any directory nothing happens. So I can’t change anything on the Security or Sharing tabs or any thing else.

I’m an Domain Admin and I have not changed any policies on the server to prevent users from accessing directory properties. I have seen this happen before with another server…..I had to reinstall. Anybody have any Ideas to try before I wipe this computer and reinstall everything.thx
