Can’t “Open in New Window” w/IE6

When I click on a link within a website that needs to open in a new window the new window freezes until I close it. Even those annoying pop-up ads open in a blank window.

If I right click on a link and choose “open in new window” the same thing happens. I get a new blank window. Any help would be very appreciated.
