Can't print to network printer

By dsewell ·
We have a HP5610 All in One connected to a desktop via USB. We will call this computer "A".

"A" is running XP and has the most up to date printer drivers installed on it, and prints just fine.

Computer "B" is also a desktop running XP and connected to the wireless network that "A" is on.

Using "B", I go to Printers and Faxes and choose to install a new printer. Then choose Network printer attached to another computer. I browse, and find the 5610 on computer "A"
When selected, it says that it will automatically install the print driver on computer "B". I select ok, and then choose to make it my defualt printer.

At this point all looks good. BUT! When I right click on the printer and choose properties, I get the following error:
"C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE
Function address 0x60602782 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000005)Some or all property pages may not be displayed"

Then

"The 'HP Officejet 5600 series' printer driver is not installed on this computer. Do you want to install the printer driver now?

If I say yes and then choose the HP Officejet from the list, it appears to install something and then the same "C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE
Function address 0x60602782 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000005)Some or all property pages may not be displayed" error is displayed again.

There are other computers running XP that print to this network printer just fine. It is just computer "B" having the issue.

Can someone help me out?
