How can you remove the shares on a PC running WinNT4 workstation. The hardrive is partitioned so it looks like:C, D, E
I tried the usuall way of right clicking and going through sharing. It goes away but once the computer is booted back up the shares appear. There is no network hooked up at the time. There are 2 other symptoms which may be related and they are: the system 32 folder opens up upon booting up the computer. I can not stop that from opening. Also if you “restart” the pc it will not read the ram and gives “memory error”, but if you shut down and reboot there is no error. If someone can give me a direction to try, there were many other problems that involved corrupt drivers that I have taken care of but none has resolvedthese issues.
