I recently bought a lenovo laptop pre-loaded with Visa OS and created a 55GB HD partition/volume using EASEUS partition manager but ever since the partition (D:/ drive) was created I cannot save any files in the newly created disk drive. Funny enough even though I cannot directly save any files I can copy and paste (.jpeg, gif, pdf, doc…) files into D:/ drive. The message I get when trying to save a file is “You don’t have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission”. The user account I use when login into vista has full administrative rights so I don’t think that is the problem.
I never had this problem in XP. Can anyone please help solve this mystery?
