I am running NT4.0 SP, Exch 5.5 and Outlook Express and I cant send/recieve external email. When I send an email I get a return message “Unable to deliver the message due to a communications failure

REQUESTED ACTION NOT TAKEN: DNS FAILURE” Internal mail works. I think it’s a problem with the IMS connector, when I try to get into it I get a message ” Extension ‘SMTP’ could not be loaded. The specified module couldnot be found. Microsoft Windows NT ID no. 0xc002007e” and I cant recreate that connector. I also have various errors in event viewer like the DNS server has no primary or secondary zones, and my application log is full of events like: Source: MSExchangeMTA, Category: Field Engineering saying “A timer started with the timeout value set to 10. I have other events too if that helps, thanks
