By c-koehling ·
I installed the Suse in a Second Drive, and tried to make A Boot Menu at the Config.Sys from Windows98. It works but no't till the end. It shows an Error at the Kernel or something like that.
In Linux as "ROOT" cann also not "run: make bzImage". Itgives me also just ERROR.

Need help with this.

Can't start Linux - Suse from second HDD

Cecil,

You need to explain a bit more:
Is linux on slave drive of the same IDE cable? The master or slave drive of the secondary IDE interface? a second drive but on a SCSI channel?
What size is the hard drive? What version of Suse? What specific error message do you get when you run "make bzImage?
