When running upgrade from w98 to w2k using CD of w2k pro it asks me for a conversion to NTFS.
First time I told not to perform a conversion, and then the upgrading process starts and I suddenly a message says “Hard Disks problems detected and your Hard Disk can not be fixed”.
Then the computer restarts and loads w98 without any problem, I mean, I can work normally using w98.
Then I repeat the process selectin NTFS conversion but te results were the same.
My HD is an IDE and I havechecked the compatibility page of MS where specifically the model and version of my computer ar listed as full compatibility…
Does anybody have a clue of what should I do to perform the upgrade?
