Recently I started having trouble with Outlook 2007 where I can receive emails fine but if I send an email, it “dissapears”. It shows in my sent folder but it never gets received, even if I send it to myself.
I think I’ve found the problem but don’t know why its a problem. For the following example, all my settings are the same for both accounts for SMTP, etc.
If I create an account my.name@myserver.net, the mail message dissapears (works fine if I use the web client or my iPhone). If I setup a second account myname@myserver.net it works fine.
Anyone know why the my.name isn’t working in outlook any more and how to get it to work?
