capture printer port

I am having problems reconnecting my captured port to lpt1. I right click on the printer\properties\details\capture port and I have reconnect at logon checked but everytime I reboot my pc it disconnects and doesn’t reconnect. I have tried to add it to the autoexec.bat file but no luck. Can anyone help?
