Capturing Video thru IE1394

Hello

I have a Acer laptop (very powerful) and have plugged a analog to digital coverter box from Pinnacle into the IE1394 port on the laptop. The laptop keeps coming up and installing a driver for a digital camera I don’t have and blocks the flow of video to Windows Movie Maker. My other PC installs the right driver under the same conditions and works but I can’t get the laptop to not install this camera drive.

What can I do to solve this problem please?
