By dbrozier ·
I'm trying to get a laptop with a cardbuss PC card slot to boot with DOS and dos drivers, but it cannot get a DHCP address from the server. Any suggestions?

you will need to load the cardbus drivers from your autoexec.bat and config.sys files as well as the drivers for the network card in dos as well. I would find out what kind of PCMCIA controller is on the laptop its probably a texas instruments and Iwould also get the make and model of the PCMCIA network card and go to the manufacturer and see if they have dos drivers. what kind of laptop is this on?
