I am a Lead software developer with 14 years of experience in .NET. I have worked full stack i.e. frontend, backend, apis, databases, client side.
All my work has been on the domain/business side. But I am beginning to realize that understanding business is not my forte and neither do I enjoy it very much.
I feel I am more inclined towards frameworks. Implementing and understanding design patterns. Discussing good software practices
I often try to deep dive into framework code implemented by the plaform team and it really makes me curious. I am thinking of moving my career in that direction.
But I am not sure how do get that kind of a role. What kind of preparation do I need to do? Any discussion groups I need to subscribe to? I dont think linked or within
my own company is a good place to ask these questions either as you come under the scanner.
Any suggestions are welcome. Please feel free to suggest any other discussion groups where I can ask this question
