I currently work as a trainer and support analyst for a software house and have come a long way from knowing nothing about IT to being pretty OK on it. On my way, I have passed the following examinations: – NT4 Server, NT4 Ent, NT4 Wkstn, Net Ess and the Citrix CCA. I am now in a quandry as I would like to develop further skills. My comnpany only deals with MS software and Citrix software and so I am pretty limited on the ‘hands-on’ front. I would very much like to specialise in a specific area rather than being a jack of all trades. What would anyone suggest I do? I am currently teaching myself (as my company does not pay for training) MS SQL 7 but am not sure if this is the route to take.
