Career Guidelines Required

Following is my Candidature :-
1.CCNA
2.Visual basic 6.0 Programming : 3.5 yrs experience
3.Ms.SQL Server 2000 : 2.5 yrs experience
4.MCDBA Completed
5.Presently Learning VB.NET 2003.

Apart from doing all above i am not getting better job prospects. What according to you could be the reason of my failure.

Pl. guide ?

Your credentials are only part of the decision on someone's candidacy for a position.

Have you asked any of the people you have interviewed with why you weren't chosen for the position?

You need to target your actual experience to the jobs you are applying to. In addition, you need to show how you will add value in that role to the company you want to work for.

Finally, if you are expecting them to come calling you, that won't happen in today's market. You need to go find the jobs that you are best able to perform. Research the companies that have those positions available, and be persistent.
