that for almost two years now and I finally found out how thanks to
TechRepublic.
i ran spybot search and destory on my computer yesterday and when i
restarted my computer, there was no explorer, i had to go back in tell
the regedit what explorer to open up in it's shell. it was a pain
in the butt because i didn't know what i did. i have it all fixed now

Beautiful day out in St. Louis

by mLindvall In reply to Careers in St. Louis, MO

Walking around to classes today and happened to noticed that it was a
very nice day out. It wasn't freezing cold like it was yesterday,
not rainy like the day before and also not really warm like it has been
all summer long. I hope everyone else got to enjoy the great
weather like I did.
Just hanging out

by mLindvall In reply to Careers in St. Louis, MO

It's been a while since I've been on TechRepublic. I've just been
busy doing school work. I can't wait till it's all over, just a
year and a half left.
Just hanging out

by john_24_honda In reply to Just hanging out

Yes I am in the same boat as you, well.. I've just finished a first year of a two year H.N.D.networking, and then hopefully going on to a degree in networking, the same question pops up, how hard is it to get into this buisness.
This is my second career in life, as I was a fully trained Honda technician for 17yrs and felt that I needed something more demanding in life, I find networking very interesting, but sometimes right now abit heavy, time will tell. Working with Linux

by mLindvall In reply to Careers in St. Louis, MO

I started back at school last week. Started J-term which is
only one class everyday for three weeks and three hours a day. In my
class we are learning how to act as adminsitrators in a Linux OS.
I really enjoy using the command line in Linux, plus i also enjoy all
the bouncing pointer when it's loading a program.

Linux is really fun and i'm trying to get my hands on a older used
computer so i can install Linux on and just toy around. Hopefully
I can get my hands on a computer so i can do it.
