I changed my main Ethernet cable to a newer one (cat6e) and when I plug it to my switch it says “ethernet doesn’t have a valid ip configuration”. The cable when I plug it itself on the computer works fine . The switch(tp-link TL-SF1005D) when the old cable is connected also works fine. This happens on both of the computers that are connected to the switch.

What I tried and didnt work:

-Deleted and updated the network card’s driver.

    -Tried these commands:

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /renew

    nbtstat –R

    nbtstat –RR

    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

    netsh winsock reset
