I want to connect the satellite modem (D-Link DFL 200)directly to a switch (Catalist 2950-24) and then through a VLAN to the firewall/router (because the modem is far away from the computers room and I need to use multiple firewall/router ports). The switch runs 12.1(22)EA1 and doesn’t support mdix auto command. The modem connects through a crossover cable. How can I enable the crossover support on the switch? Does Catalist 2940 support crossover cable?
