I installed a CD Burner in a Windows 2000 workstation for one of my users. It is a Sony External ilink CD Burner. If I try to use the CD Burner under a user with “Power User” rights, the software will not work. It will say that there are no DVD or CD drives in the machine. If I log in with an administrator account or give that user administrator rights, then it will work. I do not want to give that user administrator rights. Is there a way around this? Please help.
