Dell 4600C, running XP Pro.
Both drives do the same thing. Will not boot CD’s disks once the computer has been started. If I leave a disk in either drive and reboot, the drive will read that disk. If I attempt to change that disk to another it will not read it. I’ve gone back and “restored”…same problem. I thought about reloading drivers but it happens on both drives. No error messages in Device Manager.
Suggestions appreciated!
