I just got my Acer back from AcerRepair. Everything I addressed was fixed and although it took two tries im rather happy. The only problem is that my cd/dvd rom will not read discs. I’ve placed program discs, cd’s, and dvd’s into the unit but it still reads nothing. The disc spins, stops, respins and then stops again. I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers but that didn’t work. Even when I go to my computer and click on the cd/dvd rom, a window appears and then closes out, without fully opening. I need help so I can reinstall some programs to my laptop.
