What would cause a CD to shatter in a CD-Rom drive? My son has a 52X cd-rom and oneday while playing his favorite game, his cd literally exploded in 30-40+ pieces, blowing the front off of his cd-rom and sending shards flying across the room. The pieces that remained in the drive were removed, and the cd-rom still works. Any clues???
