CD Player-can't find it

By warrenL ·
Win 98SE Help states to find the CD Player, Go to
Programs/accessories/entertainment/and click on CD Player.

CD Player is not shown when the menu comes up.

How can I get CD Player back on that menu? It was there before, but it has vanished.I would like to get it back on my taskbar also.

Start with;
Control Panel,
Add/Remove Programs,
Windows Setup,
Multi-Media,
click on options,
Select the CD player.

Click on apply, and that should re-install it.

If it says it is al-ready installed, deselect it,
apply,
re-boot,
go back and add it back in.

Windows media player, or Real Player are the usual suspects that may remove the CD player.

You may need to manually place it onto the quick launch section of the taksbar.

If the above doesn't work for some reason,
there are a number of CD players that you can download from both www.nonags.com
or www.completelyfreesoftware.com
