Sorry if this is not the right platform to ask this question.
I live in Zimbabwe and have a small computer company. I would like to assemble generic CD-ROM and floppy drives at a reasonable cost so that people around here can buy them cheaply. At the moment CD-ROMs are very expensive here.
What kind of technology is involved? And whom can I approach for the components? Please help if you can.
