Hi,
I have a system running W95. The CD does not work. It is recognized on boot but says that it cannot find the cd rom, drivers not loaded. I have swapped it into another system and it does not work there. I then used a known good CD and get the same message.
Things I have done>> swapped with known good one, set to master and slave depended where I tried it. Switched to slave on pri IDE, checked for mscdex it was there. I loaded drivers for the new cd I used.Swapped IDe cable with known goodone. In bios I checked to make sure that it was set to Auto.
In device manager I have yellow exclamation points next to the Pri and Sec ide controllers.
Any thoughts.
