CD Rom drive not showing

Win XP Pro
Asus A7N8X mobo
Lite-On LTR-401255

I have just changed my motherboard to the above. Everything works fine but my Lie-On CD Rom does not show up in “my computer”. When I look in devise manager it is not there. I run the “Scan for hardware changes” and it shows up and works. BUT… when I reboot it disapears again and I have to scan for it everytime I turn the PC on.

I also have a Pioneer DVD ROM DVD-106 installed but not on the same cable. The hard drive is also on the same cable as the Lite-On CD Rewriter.

It shows up in the boot up before windows runs, every time. Any ideas?
