I have a computer with a CD Rom which wasn’t working. On startup (when you 1st power on the pc) it would go through and detect the HDD and also the CD Rom, but for some reason, once in Windows you couldn’t view the CD Rom.
Thinking it was a faulty CDRom, I purchased a new CDRom and installed it, but it has the exact same problem.
I went into Device Manager to see if their were any errors displayed for the CDRom but it doesn’t even display the CDRom at all. I found this very strange considering it detects it when the computer first boots up.
Please help me. What could be the problem?
