I have a win98 2nd edition system with a cd-rom and a cd-r. About a month ago I installed adaptec CD-Writer 4.0 and I think it messed up the driver for my cdrom. Now my cdrom can only read audio cd’s. Anything else would also be read as an audio cd.I have removed the cdrom, reinstalled the driver, unistalled adaptec cd writer, but nothing seems to be working. Do you have any ideas of how I can get my cdrom back to normal??
