I have recently had several different brands of CD-RW disks fail to burn right out of the box. One brand of the newer disks even locked up my system when the drive tried to read them.
When I use one of my older CD-RWs, there is no problem with burning or reading.
The new disks all have a black sheen on the recording surface while my old (usable) disks are blue.
Are there different types of CD-RWs and where can I find information on this?
I use a Creative CDRW 4224 burner.
