If you can't find it at Samsung's site, take a look at www.driverguide.com

Good luck!

First, you only need the CD-ROM driver for DOS mode access to the CD.

If your system is having problems recognizing your CD drive, you likely need to update the IDE bus-master driver for your motherboard.

If you have a name brand system, search the mfgs web site for drivers.

If not, identify who made the motherboard, and download the drivers from them.
Either www.motherboards.org
or www.wimsbios.com
can help you identify your motherboard.

If you do need the DOS mode driver, you should be able to download it from Samsungs web site.
This is the link for North America.

Remove any spaces from the pasted link.

Hi,
For DOS usage.
You can use a boot diskette from www.bootdisk.com which contain a generic CD-ROM driver. For me this driver work on many different CD-ROMs.
To move from diskkete to HDD copy in C root: autoexec.bat, config.sys, mscdex.exe, cd1.sys and himem.sys. Reboot computer and see if your CD-ROM was detected.

If your using Win95 final version or win98 and the issue is just getting the CDROM to work in DOS then create a bootdisk from add remove programs and select startup disk. This will create a bootable disk with CDROM support.
