I have a gateway 2000 with a 4x speed cdrom drive that is having a problem playing a music cd. It doesn’t occur with any program cd or any other audio cd and it doesn’t have a problem playing on my stereo but when I put it in the cdrom the light goes on and the cdrom scans it for a long time hanging up the pc eventually. I have a windows 95 operating system. What could cause this to happen and what is the fix. It has 16mb of memory with 100 mhz pentium cpu.
