I have a Cicero CD-RW drive. I looked up on it and noticed it was a panasonic CW-7586 drive.
I have tried CDRWIN and it does make the “write” led light up but it does not produce CD’s the way it was supposed to.
So I do happen to have Nexi techs aspi drivers that were shipped with CDRWIN (dont get confused).
I do NOT have ADAPTECS aspi layer. it doesnt work.
So what I need to know is where can I find a program that can:
a) support Disk-At-Once (DAO) recording,
b) erase CDRW disks,
c) finalize CDRW disks,
d) open and close sessions,
e) work with nexitech ASPI drivers.
f) Work with Windows 3.1, Dos (preferred), or Windows 95a.
I noticed that when I renamed wnaspi9x.dll (nexitech driver) to wnaspi32.dll, cdrwin 3.0 accepted it as an aspi manager but did not show my cdrw drive as a recorder. Just a reader. But when I renamed it back, nothing was shown for the reader or the recorder.
Please do not use CDRWIN or CDRDOS as your answer. I tried them and they ALMOST worked.
if the program you mention is shareware, then it must allow me to at least get my data from my hard drive to CD using DAO (disk-at-once).
