Cert advice for a Desktop Support Tech?

by dh_it . Updated 14 years, 8 months ago

I started as a Teir 2 tech for an engineering company about two months ago and wondering if I should take a cert related to my current role or maybe something along the lines of server support? I do the hardware part of installing servers, routers/switches and IDF racks, but actual configuration is done at a higher level. My company pays for certs so maybe I should just go with the best cert possible? I don’t have a lot of server experience but definitely more than networking, which I have very little experience. I was thinking either MCITP Enterprise Desktop Support or Server Administration. Thanks to all responses.
