Certificate for AIM

By Eminent87 ·
Hi,

Does anybody know how to create a security certificate for AIM? I have a CA server and would like to know how to set this up so user can encrypt their conversation when chatting on AIM.

I know that it uses two file, a .crt and a .pfx, but I don't know how to issue them with a CA server running on Windows 2000 server. Can anybody help? Thanks!

I've heard of that but I want to create my own. What's the point if everyone has the same public and private key? That's what you're getting if you use the certificate from that website. Here is an article that talks about it: http://cp.yahoo.net/search/cache?p=creating+certificates+for+aim+with+cert+server&ei=UTF-8&cop=mss&url=i6FOKp-zhIEJ:fae.cs.columbia.edu/aimencrypt.ps
