The company I work for does not have any IT training available. They do not send us to class, they do not buy us books, nothing. Your on your own when it comes to learning new technology. But they expect you to be able to implement it at any time. I’ve been at this company for six years as a network administrator. Recently they promised that if I got certified I would get a bonus, a raise, and a promotion. So I went out and paid for my own certification training and tests. Now I have the A+,Network+,i-Net+, and MCSE certifications and still no benefits. I have not received any word of what was promised to me and all I get is the run around. It has been two months already! I really like my job here because my coworkers are great. How long did it take you to get benefits from your certification after you passed your exams? Should I continue to wait?
