By mveira ·
Does anyone know how I can change the date format to dd/mm/yyyy on all computers in the domain? There is nothing in Group policy. Help!

You will need to create an administrative template and apply that via a GPO for the following registry keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sLongDate which is usually in the format of dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy. This would display when you put the pointer over the time as Day of Week Month Date Year.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sShortDate which is usually in the format of M/d/yyyy.

Another key of interest would be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sTimeFormat which is usually in the format of h:mm:ss tt.

In the event that you need assistance in creating a custom administrative template, this Microsoft article will be of assistance:

And in the event that you support Windows 95 and/or Windows 98 n Windows 95 and Windows 98, those values stored in the same registry keys.

Enjoy!

An additional thought I had was that yourself and others might be curious as to what all those keys do, so I think this like might be of some assistance:
