Change default font and size

By dliby1 ·
How can I change the default font and size when I am creating forms. I want to use Arial 10 point most of the time, but MS san serf 8 point is always the default.

In settings / options / preferences for the application you are using, you can usually set the default font that is used by the application.

NOTE: the default font is for the application, and will be the initial font for EVERY file that you create with the application.

You might consider creating a template form that has the font set to what you want, and includes any other 'common' formatting that you use on your forms.
Then, when you wish to create a new form you begin by opening your template.

(Save a clean copy of the template in a separate folder. That way you can quickly recover when you accidentally save a new form under the template file name.)

I think the setting you want for access is:

Open Access, open a database,

on the top menu bar go to Tools >> Options >> General near the bottom left corner is a setting to allow dual font, activate that and select a font. This should fix it for you.
