First the Setup.
Have a MSEXCHANGE 5.5 sp3 on a NT 4 sp 6 box.
Use Outlook 97/2000 Clients.
Here is my problem.
I recently added a domain name and did the MX record and IMS routing inbound thing.
Added extra smtp internet addresses to some ofthe mailboxes and all is hunky dorey.
One problem. I need to be able to send email and be able to specify what the return address is. Lets say the SMTP ( main addy domain ) = abc.com and the second smtp addy ? xyz.net. When I type in the secondary (xyz.net) in the from field the Client automatically resolves it to my Display name. ( As I should do ). This however sets the Return addy to abc.com which I don?t want. In short. I know I can change the default return address in exchange admin but Iwant it to be at the senders discretion to pick which one to use.
Any help is welcome.
