Change from Thunderbird to Apple’s Mail

I currently use Thunderbird as my email account. I would like to switch to Apple’s Mail if that is possible.

I would like to transfer my contacts and my folders as well as my inbox from Thunderbird to Apple’s Mail.

Please advise how I can specifically do that.
