I’ve considered swapping out my 4 hubbed connected network with switches. I’m hoping to get rid of the slowness on our network. I understand by make this swap it would provide greater throughput for all users. Is this as easy as disconnecting the hubs, replacing them with switches and plugging everyone back into the switches. Or is there configuration involved. I’m considering either Cisco, 3Com or HP switches. What’s your take on this?
