My old C: drive (containing Windows) was starting to make funny noises, so I shut down the PC, removed the drive and then rebooted with my XP CD and reinstalled the OS on my E: drive.
Now my problem is it renamed my E drive to D (so my system path is \Windows) and for some reason it has set my old D drive (now called E.. they switched) to saying is is the System Volume in Disk Management. The old E drive (now D) is set as the boot drive and has Windows installed on it.
How can I now make my drive with Windows on it, be both the boot (which it currently is) and the system volume (which E thinks it is).
When I try to change the drive name it says can not modufy a system or boot volume!
Help!
