I am using a Dlink router on our home network. It occurred to me that if, from time to time I were to change the dynamic IP address assigned by the ISP when the router signed on that would improve out network security since we would be moving around on the net, the moving target defence. I realize that we ourselves would have problems signing into this private network from outside because of the changing IP address but that is a minor annoyance. I do this manually now.
Here’s the question. Is there a router out there suitable for a home network that would allow a scheduled command line instruction to reboot or re-connect? Thanks.
