Changed SSL cert, broke OWA?

Hi all,

A client has just asked me to set up PPC’s to allow mobile access to their exchange server. However the name in which the origianl SSL cert was issued is different to the actual url they use to access OWA. I made a new certificate, installed it, restarted IIS but then noticed that OWA no longer worked. And I still couldn’t get the damn PPC to connect. I reinstalled the old certificate and OWA is back working fine. Now I could just add a DNS record using the name the certificate was issued in I guess, but I’d really like to know just why this isn’t working. Hopefully the IIS gurus out there can help.
